Woman alleges neck, shoulder injured in rear-end collision in St. Louis

Car accident 13

ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis woman is seeking damages over alleged injuries sustained in a rear-end collision in St. Louis.

Zenja Adams filed a complaint on April 20 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Lionel Bell alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 20, 2016, she was operating a motor vehicle and was stopped near the intersection of West Florissant Avenue and Pope Avenue when defendant struck another vehicle, causing it to collide with her vehicle. She alleges she sustained severe and permanent injuries to her neck, upper back, elbow and left shoulder as a result of the accident.

The plaintiff holds Bell responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently drove his vehicle at an excessive rate of speed and failed to maintain a proper lookout.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $25,000, plus costs and any further relief as the court deems just and proper. She is represented by Andrew L. Mandel of Mandel & Mandel LLP in St. Louis.
