Driver alleged to have unsafely changed lanes in St. Louis crash

Car accident 12

ST. LOUIS – A woman alleges she was injured in a collision in St. Louis because a driver made an unsafe lane change.

Tiffany Schmidt filed a complaint on April 18 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Devin Brown alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 11, 2016, she was operating a motor vehicle traveling southbound in the left lane of North Tucker Road approaching Locust Street when the defendant merged into the left lane and collided with her vehicle. She alleges she sustained severe and permanent injuries to her neck, back, medical expenses and pain and suffering as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff holds Brown responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to maintain his lane and changed lanes when it was not safe to do so.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of no less than $25,000 and all further relief that the court may deem just and proper. She is represented by Michael J. Sudekum of Mandel & Mandel LLP in St. Louis.
