ST. LOUIS – An Urbana, Illinois woman alleges her ankle was shattered while riding a mechanical bull at a St. Louis bar.

Marcia Clark filed a complaint on April 27 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Ballpark Village Holdings Block 600 LLC, doing business as PBR St. Louis: A Cowboy Bar, and John Doe alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 20, 2016, she was riding defendants' mechanical bull at PBR Bar when it began moving violently. She alleges her ankle was shattered by the violent twisting force that threw her from the bull, which was operated by Doe.

The plaintiff holds Ballpark Village Holdings Block 600 LLC and John Doe responsible because the defendants allegedly coerced her to ride the bull against her will and failed to operate it in a safe manner.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual damages of more than $25,000, punitive damages, and all further relief as the court may deem just and proper. She is represented by Joseph A. Ott of Ott Law Firm in St. Louis.
