Individuals seek uninsured motorist coverage from GEICO

ST. LOUIS – Two individuals allege they were injured in a collision with an uninsured motorist and are seeking coverage from their insurer.

King Pruitt, by his next friend Shenise Pruitt, and Shenise Pruitt filed a complaint on April 24 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against GEICO Insurance Co. seeking benefits.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that in May 5, 2017, King Pruitt and Shenise Pruitt were involved in a motor vehicle accident negligently caused by an uninsured motorist on Miami Street near South Jefferson in St. Louis City. They sustained injuries and damages and had a policy through the defendant at the time of the collision, the suit states.

The plaintiffs seek uninsured motorist coverage of more than $25,000 for each plaintiff, plus costs of this action and any further relief as the court may deem just and proper. They are represented by Gerald V. Tanner Jr. of Law Offices Gerald V. Tanner Jr. in St. Louis.
