Motorist seeks more than $25,000 from John Redecker Trucking over I-70 collision

ST. LOUIS – A motorist alleges the driver of a tractor-trailer failed to operate the vehicle in the proper lane and caused a collision.

Robin Daniels filed a complaint on May 18 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against John Redecker, doing business as John Redecker Trucking, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 7, 2017, she was driving her car on Interstate Highway 70 in St. Louis when the tractor-trailer owned and operated the by defendant crashed into the rear of her vehicle. She alleges she sustained serious and permanent injuries to her head, neck, back, spine and left knee, leg, arm and shoulder as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff holds Redecker, doing business as John Redecker Trucking, responsible because the defendant employee allegedly failed to operate its tractor-trailer in the proper lane, negligently drove it at an excessive rate of speed and failed to control the same.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of no less than $25,000, plus interest, costs and all further relief that the court may deem proper and just. She is represented by Kevin S. Sullivan of Sauter Sullivan LLC in St. Louis.
