ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis individual alleges his back and neck were injured in a rear-end collision in the city.
Tijuan King filed a complaint on May 16 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Christopher Calvird alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 16, 2013, the plaintiff was operating a motor vehicle traveling northbound on Skinker Boulevard and was stopped at its intersection with Enright Avenue in St. Louis when the defendant's vehicle rear-ended his. The plaintiff alleges he sustained injuries to his back and neck and incurred medical expenses of more than $4,300 as a result of the collision.
The plaintiff holds Calvird responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to sound a horn or give any signal of the approach, followed plaintiff's vehicle too closely and failed to keep a proper lookout.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $25,000, plus costs of this action and all further relief as the court deems proper and just. He is represented by Cecil L. Skaggs of Central West End Law Office in St. Louis.
