Delmar Gardens of Chesterfield Operating alleges it is owed nearly $40,000 for services

ST. LOUIS – A skilled nursing facility alleges a former resident failed to pay for its services.

Delmar Gardens of Chesterfield Operating LLC filed a complaint on May 17 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Leonard Cross alleging unjust enrichment and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff operates a skilled nursing facility and that the defendant was a resident from May 31 and Dec. 29, 2017. 

The plaintiff holds Cross responsible because the defendant allegedly failed and refused to pay the plaintiff for its services during his stay.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $39,198.75, plus interest, costs, attorney's fees and any further relief as the court deems proper and just. It is represented by Gregory J. Minana and Tanya M. Maerz of Husch Blackwell LLP in St. Louis.
