Woman seeks damages from David Thompson Trucking, drivers over separate auto accidents

Semi crash 05

ST. LOUIS – A woman alleges she was injured in two separate collisions in St. Louis.

Stacy Byrne filed a complaint on May 25 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against David Thompson Trucking, Telly Thompson and Jonathan Moxey alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 17, 2015, she was occupying her parked 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix on Tucker Boulevard near its intersection with Market Street in St. Louis when defendant Thompson, who was driving a tractor-trailer owned by defendant Thompson Trucking, struck her parked vehicle.

In a separate event, the plaintiff alleges she was operating a 2010 Honda Civic on Jefferson near its intersection with Rutger in St. Louis when Moxey's vehicle rear-ended hers.

The plaintiff holds David Thompson Trucking, Thompson and Moxey responsible because defendants Thompson and Moxey allegedly failed to maintain careful and vigilant lookouts.

The plaintiff seeks damages of more than $25,000 from the defendants, plus interest, and costs of this action. She is represented by Todd I. Muchnick and Aaron D. Haber of Muchnick Haber Margolis LC in St. Louis.
