ST. LOUIS – A pizza delivery man alleges he was injured by a pit bull when he was making a delivery at a St. Louis residence.

William C. Duffe Jr. filed a complaint on May 24 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Supatra Miller and John Does One and Two alleging premises liability and strict liability.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 27, 2013, he was a business invitee lawfully approaching Miller's Neosho Street, St. Louis property to deliver pizza when a pit bull dog attacked him. He alleges the dog tore into his stomach and right forearm/hand, inflicting deep wounds to his body. He alleges he did not provoke the dog.
