Mid River Restaurants, others alleged to have failed to pay rent

Late 04

ST. LOUIS – A California limited liability company alleges it is owed unpaid rent for a St. Louis property.

The Lakes Adventure LLC filed a complaint on June 1 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Mid River Restaurants LLC, Applebees Restaurants Kansas LLC, et al. alleging breach of lease and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 1, 2009, the defendants entered into a land and building lease with Aegis Investment Group LLC, the original landlord, for a St. Louis property. The plaintiff alleges that rent was not paid in December 2017 and February 2018.

The plaintiff holds Mid River Restaurants LLC, Applebees Restaurants Kansas LLc, et al. responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay rent and other charges due under the lease.

The plaintiff seeks payment for the past-due rents and late charges, attorney's fees, costs, interest and all other relief as the court deems proper. It is represented by Paul J. Puricelli of Stone, Leyton, & Gershman in St. Louis.
