ST. LOUIS – A woman is seeking damages from a parking garage operator after falling on a slippery substance in the St. Louis University Hospital parking garage.

Tiffany Robinson filed a complaint on June 1 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against St. Louis Parkway Co. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Aug. 16, 2017, she was walking on the St. Louis University Hospital parking garage when she slipped and fell because of a foreign substance on the floor. She alleges she sustained injuries to her back, tail bone and other parts of the body as a result of the fall.

The plaintiff holds St. Louis Parkway Co. responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently allowed a slippery substance to remain on the parking garage's floor without proving any warnings.

The plaintiff seeks damages in excess of the minimum jurisdictional limits of the court and all further relief as the court deems necessary and proper. She is represented by Lorenzo Hester in St. Louis.
