ST. LOUIS – Mothers of a couple killed in an accident in 2017 are seeking an approval of a settlement with an insurance company.

Valerie Greer and Donna Powell, individually and as grandmother of minor Camille Ingram filed a petition on June 7 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against GEICO Casualty seeking approval of a wrongful death settlement.

According to the complaint, Greer and Powell are the mothers of Brian Greer and Tolighta Morrow, who were fatally struck on Nov. 1, 2017, by an uninsured motorist on Natural Bridge Road in or near St. Louis. The suit states Ingram was injured in the collision.

The suit states Ingram and the decedents were covered under a policy issued by the defendant at the time of the accident and that the plaintiffs have negotiated a settlement for a total sum of $300,000.

The plaintiffs seek an order approving the wrongful death settlement in the amount of $300,000 and all further relief as the court may deem proper and just. They are represented by Jermaine Wooten of The Legal Solution Group LLC in St. Louis.
