ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis County corporation alleges that a California company failed to pay it for its services.

PromoPlacement Inc. filed a complaint on June 18 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Americhip Inc., doing business as CleggPromo, alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 30, the parties entered into a contract in which plaintiff was to screen and present job candidates to the defendant for a fee.

The plaintiff holds Americhip Inc. responsible because despite demand for payments, the defendant allegedly failed and refused to pay for the plaintiff's services.

The plaintiff seeks damages in a fair and reasonable amount, plus interest, attorney's fees, costs and any further relief that the court may deem just and proper. It is represented by Brian E. McGovern and Michael P. Herrmann of McCarthy, Leonard, Kaemmerer LC in Town & Country.
