ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis driver is alleged to have failed to stay in his lane and cause damage to a parked car.

Sardar Ameen and Zhyar Ameen filed a complaint on June 28 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Roy Gandy alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Aug. 16, 2016, they parked their vehicle in a legal parking area next to southbound Phillips Road near its intersection with Gravois and the defendant sideswiped their vehicle.

The plaintiffs holds Gandy responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently drove at an excessive speed, failed to maintain in his lane of traffic and failed to keep a careful lookout.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek damages of more than $25,000, plus interest, costs and all further relief as the court deems necessary and proper. They are represented by Benjamin J. Sansone of Sansone Sumner & Lauber in Clayton.
