ST. LOUIS – A Groendyke Transport employee is alleged to have failed to yield and cause an auto accident in St. Louis.

Alina Nguyen filed a complaint on July 17 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Groendyke Transport Inc. and Freddie McBride alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 26, 2017, defendant McBride was operating a motor vehicle in the course and scope of his employment with defendant Groendyke when he violently crashed into plaintiff's vehicle at the intersection of Chippewa and South Grand in St. Louis. She alleges she suffered injuries to her left shoulder, neck and back and incurred medical related expenses of approximately $7,000 as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff holds Groendyke Transport Inc. and McBride responsible because defendant McBride allegedly failed to keep a proper lookout and failed to yield to the right of way.

The plaintiff seeks damages in an amount that is fair and reasonable, prejudgment interest, costs and all other relief that may be appropriate. She is represented by Scott L. Kolker of Defeo & Kolker LLC in Clayton.
