ST. LOUIS – A Washington State resident alleges he is owed commissions from his former employer when he was employed at its St. Louis office.

Steven Nyikos filed a complaint on July 13 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against LemnaTec Corp. alleging unjust enrichment and breach of employment agreement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between January 2016 and May 2018, he worked for defendant at its St. Louis office in sales. The suit states at the end of his employment, he was a global sales director for the defendant. He alleges during his employment, the defendant never paid commissions as outlined in his employment agreement.

By the end of his employment, he alleges he had earned in excess of €151,364.12 in commissions, which remains unpaid, plus an estimate of €127,783.29 that allegedly will become due within the next 12 months.

The plaintiff holds LemnaTec Corp. responsible because the defendant allegedly breached their employment agreement by failing to pay commissions earned.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks payment for the full amount of unpaid earned compensation, plus punitive damages, attorney's fees, costs and all further relief as the court may deem just and proper. He is represented by J. Clayton Schaeffer of Schaeffer Law LLC in Clayton.
