ST. LOUIS – A minor is seeking damages from a motorist over injuries allegedly sustained in a St. Louis collision.
Roni'blu Miracle Lovejoy, a minor, by and through her next friend Maurille Lovejoy, filed a complaint on July 31 in the Str. Louis Circuit Court against Laurie Buckles alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 1, 2016, Roni'blu Miracle Lovejoy was a passenger in her father's vehicle traveling westbound on Utah Street at its intersection with Illinois Street in St. Louis when the defendant caused her vehicle to collide with plaintiff's vehicle, causing her to be injured.
The plaintiff holds Buckles responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to yield to the right of way, failed to maintain a careful lookout and failed to take evasive actions to avoid collision.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant and all further relief as the court deems just and proper. She is represented by John Wilbers of Wilbers Law Firm in Clayton.
