Motorist seeks damages from State Farm for injuries in collision with uninsured driver

ST. LOUIS – A woman injured in a collision in St. Louis with an uninsured driver is seeking damages from her insurance company.

Ruby Knox filed a complaint on Aug. 15 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Aug. 15, 2016, she was driving her motor vehicle in St. Louis and was struck by a vehicle driven by Dakorai Luckett, an uninsured driver. She alleges she sustained injuries to her head, neck and back.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount of more than $25,000, plus costs and all further relief as the court may deem just and proper. She is represented by Eric A. Ruttencutter and Daniel J. Gauthier of Pedroli & Gauthier LLC in Clayton.
