ST. LOUIS – A woman assaulted and robbed at a St. Louis pharmacy alleges the business failed to have adequate security.

Elnora Daniels filed a complaint on Aug. 22 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Walgreen Co., Pharmacy Portfolio VII Exchange LLC and John Dorsey alleging negligence and battery.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Aug. 9, 2017, she was a victim of assault and robbery at the North Kingshighway Walgreens in St. Louis. The suit states the plaintiff was assaulted and robbed by defendant Dorsey in the parking lot.

The plaintiff holds Walgreen Co., Pharmacy Portfolio VII Exchange LLC and Dorsey responsible because defendants Walgreen and Pharmacy allegedly failed to provide adequate security and failed to provide notice of the danger of such attack and Dorsey allegedly intentionally assaulted her without reasonable justification.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $25,000 from the defendants, plus interest and costs. She is represented by Joseph M. Taylor of Taylor & Taylor PC in St. Louis.
