Motorist seeks damages over St. Louis collision from driver who allegedly made a U-turn in front of her

ST. LOUIS – A driver alleges another motorist made a U-turn in front her on a St. Louis road and caused a collision.

Jatanya Waters filed a complaint on Aug. 23 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Danny Palma alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 29, 2017, she was traveling on North Grand Boulevard in St. Louis when the defendant collided with her vehicle with great force. She alleges she sustained serious and permanent injuries to her head, neck, back, arms and legs and incurred medical expenses in excess of $1,000, loss wages in more than of $100 and property damage of more than $500 as a result of the collision. 

The plaintiff holds Palma responsible because the defendant allegedly made a U-turn in front of her, failed to maintain a careful lookout and failed to take evasive actions to avoid a collision.

The plaintiff seeks damages of more than $25,000 plus costs. She is represented by William E. Sorrell of Sorrell & Traube in St. Louis.
