Car accident 29

ST. LOUIS – A passenger alleges he was injured in a collision in St. Louis when the car he was traveling in was rear-ended by another vehicle.

Lenardo Garcia filed a complaint on Aug. 24 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Anthony Knobeloch alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 11, 2016, he was a passenger in the motor vehicle driven by Julio Arriaga-Carillos traveling on Interstate 55 near its intersection with Seventh Street in St. Louis when the defendant struck the rear of their vehicle.

The plaintiff holds Knobeloch responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently drove his vehicle at an excessive speed, failed to maintain a careful lookout, and failed to take proper evasive actions to avoid a collision.

The plaintiff seeks compensatory damages of no less than $25,000, plus interest, costs and any further relief as the court may deem just and proper. He is represented by Timothy M. Etzkorn of Etzkorn & Etzkorn LLP in St. Louis.
