Hance Construction alleges it is owed more than $40,000 for work

ST. LOUIS – A St. Charles County business alleges it was not paid for construction work it performed on a St. Louis property.

Hance Construction Inc. filed a complaint on Aug. 31 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Union & 70 LLC, et al. alleging breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 16, 2017, plaintiff agreed to provide labor, materials and equipment to install storm and sanitary sewers and downspout tie-ins and certain extra work to defendants project in St. Louis for the sum of $44,750.24. 

The plaintiff holds Union & 70 LLC, et al. responsible because in spite of repeated demands for payments, the defendants' failed and refused to pay the said amounts.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in the amount of $49,487.91, interest included, plus attorney's fees, costs, expenses and all other relief that are just and proper. It is represented by Theodore D. Dearing of Dearing & Hartzog LC in Clayton.
