Motorist alleges cost of damages to vehicle after rear-end collision in St. Louis totaled more than $7,000

ST. LOUIS – A man alleges he sustained more than $7,000 worth of damages to his vehicle after a rear-end collision in St. Louis.

Duncan Corbett filed a complaint on Sept. 14 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Earl Baldwin alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 26, he was driving his vehicle traveling north on South Grand at or Forest Park in St. Louis when the defendant caused his vehicle to strike the rear of plaintiff's vehicle. He alleges he sustained damage to his vehicle in excess of $7,000 as a result of the collision. 

The plaintiff holds Baldwin responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently drove at an excessive speed, failed to maintain careful lookout and failed to yield.

The plaintiff seeks damages in a fair and reasonable amount and all further relief the is proper. He is represented by Spencer Farris of the S.E. Farris Law Firm in St. Louis.
