ST. LOUIS – A man alleges an exposed cable wire in a St. Louis parking lot caused him to fall.

Ronald Siebert filed a complaint on Sept. 25 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against St. Louis Parking Co. and USH LLC alleging a failure to remove an unsafe condition.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 27, 2017, he was lawfully upon defendants' parking lot behind Union Station at or near 18th Street and Clark Avenue in St. Louis when he was caused to fall due to an exposed cable wire embedded in the pavement. He alleges the fall caused him to sustain injuries and damages of more than $25,000.

The plaintiff holds St. Louis Parking Co. and USH LLC responsible because the defendants allegedly negligently allowed the exposed cable wire to remain in the parking lot and without providing adequate warning of its existence.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in a fair and reasonable amount plus costs of this action. He is represented by Marc S. Wallis and Mark I. Bronson of Newman Bronson & Wallis in St. Louis.
