ST. LOUIS — A former restaurant owner is suing Jered D. Gallagher and DB Cooper's, citing alleged fraudulent conveyance.
Michael Makhamreh filed a complaint on Oct. 17, in the St. Louis Circuit Court, against Jered D. Gallagher and DB Cooper's alleging that the business partner breached a duty of good faith and fair dealing.
The plaintiff alleges that on May 16, the parties entered into an operating agreement in which plaintiff would have a 10 percent ownership interest in a new business.
As a result of defendants' outrageous conduct, plaintiff's ownership was reduced to 0.67 percent, according to the lawsuit.
The plaintiff holds Jered D. Gallagher and DB Cooper's responsible because the defendant allegedly attempted to add a new member to the business with the apparent intent to reduce his membership interest and to transfer the rest to an improperly designated new member.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of not less than $25,000, plus costs and all further relief deemed meet and just. He is represented by Edward J. Deghroony of Edward J. Deghroony, attorney at law in St. Louis.
