ST. LOUIS — A tractor-trailer driver is suing Hogan Motor Leasing Inc. and its entities for more than $50,000 in damages, citing alleged negligence.

Michael W. Gregory filed a complaint on Oct. 16, in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court, against Hogan Motor Leasing Inc. alleging that the terminal operator negligently allowed a hose to be placed where plaintiff would alight from his cab.

The plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 18, 2013, he was at defendant's terminal when he stepped on a hose and fell while alighting from his cab. He sustained head injuries resulting in pain, disability, lost wages and medical bills.

The plaintiff holds Hogan Motor Leasing Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to inform plaintiff of the existing danger.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in an amount of more than $50,000, plus costs and all further relief that the court may deem proper.

He is represented by Michael L. McGlynn of McGlynn & McGlynn in Belleville.
