ST. LOUIS – Two individuals allege their insurance company breached their policy regarding uninsured motorist coverage.
Sherri Johnson and Ricardo Sanchez filed a complaint on Oct. 16 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against York Risk Services Group Inc. alleging vexatious refusal to pay.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Jan. 21, they were traveling on Natural Bridge Avenue approaching Warne Avenue when a Toyota Camry did not stop at the stop sign and pulled out in front of them, causing their vehicle to strike the rear end of the Camry. The suit states the Camry driver did not stop and the plaintiffs were injured in the collision.
The plaintiffs hold York Risk Services Group Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to comply with the terms of the insurance policy
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek damages in an amount that is fair and reasonable, costs and all further relief that the court may deem proper and just. They are represented by David Granat and Sean P. Haley of The Granat Law Office LLC in Clayton.
