Woman sues Gateway Tire and Car Care Center, driver over alleged injuries from two collisions

ST. LOUIS – A woman alleges she was injured in two collisions in 2018 in St. Louis.

Michelle Clayton filed a complaint on Nov. 26 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against David Quest, doing business as Gateway Tire and Car Care Center, and Coburn Cleveland alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on March 2, the plaintiff was walking outside the Gateway Tire and Car Care Center in St. Louis when an employee backed a car into her. The suit also states on July 5, she was sitting in a parked vehicle when Cleveland struck her vehicle from behind.

The plaintiff holds Quest, doing business as Gateway Tire and Car Care Center and Cleveland responsible the defendants allegedly failed to keep a proper lookout.

The plaintiff seeks compensatory damages of more than $50,000, plus interest, costs and all further relief as the court may deem proper and necessary. She is represented by Benjamin J. Sansone of Sansone & Lauber in Clayton.
