ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis resident is alleged to have driven too fast for the conditions in a collision.

Andre Irvin and Ridija Moody filed a complaint on Dec. 13 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Mumin Mayo alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on Aug. 10, the plaintiffs were traveling on South Grand Boulevard and were attempting to turn left to Shenandoah Avenue when the defendant's vehicle crashed into their vehicle. The plaintiffs allege they sustained injuries, incurred medical expenses and lost wages as a result of the collision.

The plaintiffs hold Mayo responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently drove his vehicle too fast for the conditions, failed to maintain a careful lookout and failed to avoid the collision.

The plaintiffs seek judgment against defendant in an amount of more than $15,000 and all other relief as the court may deem just and proper. They are represented by Kevin A. Sullivan of Sauter Sullivan LLC in St. Louis.
