Progressive Casualty Insurance seeks damages from St. Louis driver over accident

ST. LOUIS – An insurance company is seeking damages from a St. Louis resident over an auto accident that occurred in the city.

Progressive Casualty Insurance filed a complaint on Dec. 14 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Keaundria McRoberts alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 17, 2016, its insured, Cahndra Dismute, was injured in an automobile collision due to the negligence of defendant. Dismute allegedly sustained personal injuries and was caused to suffer medical bills, pain and suffering, and property damage. 

The plaintiff holds McRoberts responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to yield to the right of way, failed to obey traffic control devise and failed to maintain a careful lookout.

The plaintiff seeks damages in the principal sum of $32,045, plus interest and costs of this action. It is represented by Piper Lori Hughes of Wetsch Abbott Osborn Van Vliet PLC in Wes Des Moines, Iowa.
