ST. LOUIS – A driver is seeking damages from a St. Peters resident over a collision in St. Louis.

Kimberly Grant filed a complaint on Dec. 19 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Taylor Meurer alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 22, 2018, she was traveling southbound on Hampton Avenue near its intersection with Victoria Avenue in St. Louis when the defendant struck the rear of her vehicle. She alleges she sustained injuries to her neck and back as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff holds Meurer responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to maintain a careful lookout, negligently made an improper turn and failed to swerve or stop to avoid colliding with her vehicle.

The plaintiff seeks damages of more than $15,000, plus costs and any further relief as the court may deem just and proper. She is represented by Kevin A. Sullivan of Sauter Sullivan LLC in St. Louis.
