ST. LOUIS – A driver alleges she was injured when a tractor-trailer driver changed lanes and collided with her vehicle on Interstate 55.

Ashley Williams filed a complaint on Dec. 19 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against INBEV International Inc. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 1, 2018, she was driving southbound on I-55 approaching the exit at Broadway when defendant's tractor-trailer, driven by its employee Victor Buruncenco, collided with her vehicle. She alleges she sustained injuries to her neck and shoulder as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff holds INBEV International Inc. responsible because defendant's employee failed to maintain a careful lookout, failed to yield and failed to maintain his lane.

The plaintiff seeks compensatory damages of more than $25,000, plus interest, costs and all further relief as the court deems proper and necessary. She is represented by Benjamin J. Sansone of Sansone & Lauber in Clayton.
