ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis County resident alleges he was injured in an auto accident and that his insurer failed to pay the amounts due under his policy.

Alex Neu filed a complaint on Jan. 3 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against AAA Insurance alleging breach of contract and vexatious refusal.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 22, 2017, he was involved in an auto collision with another motorist. He alleges he sustained serious and permanent injuries to his neck and back and incurred medical care and treatment expenses.

At the time of the incident, the suit states the plaintiff was insured with an uninsured motorist coverage with defendant in the amount of $100,000.

The plaintiff holds AAA Insurance responsible because the defendant allegedly failed and refused to pay the amounts due under the terms of the insurance policy without reasonable cause or excuse.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant in the amount of $100,000, plus costs and any further relief as the court may deem appropriate. He is represented by Patrick Hinrichs of The Bradley Law Firm in St. Louis.
