ST. LOUIS – Two individuals allege they were injured in a collision caused by a driver who attempted to make a U-turn and struck their vehicle.

Sherrell Hall and Tameca Burnett filed a complaint on Dec. 27 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Nicholas W. Miller alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on April 3, 2018, they plaintiffs were in a motor vehicle and were stopped near the intersection of Washington Avenue and 14th Street in St. Louis when defendant backed up, struck their car and left the scene. They allege they were injured in the collision.

The plaintiffs hold Miller responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to maintain a careful lookout, failed to yield and negligently made an improper turn.

The plaintiffs seek damages in excess of the jurisdictional limits of the court, and all further relief that the court may deem just and equitable. They are represented by Brian Stokes of The Stokes Law Office in St. Louis.
