ST. LOUIS – A driver alleges he was injured in a collision in St. Louis and that his insurer has failed to make a payment.

Michael Jaber filed a complaint on Dec. 28 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Allie Harper, Avis Budget Group Inc. and Government Employees Insurance Co. (Geico) alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 29, 2013, he was operating a minivan and was stopped on Delmar Boulevard at or near its intersection with Skinker Boulevard in St. Louis when Harper collided with his vehicle. He alleges he sustained serious injuries to his neck, head, shoulders, chest, back and arms as a result of the collision.

The suit states the vehicle Harper was operating was covered by insurance through Avis and the plaintiff had coverage through Geico.

The plaintiff alleges Geico has refused to make a payment under the terms of the uninsured motorist contract.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $25,000, and all further relief as the court may deem just and proper. He is represented by Benjamin J. Coudret of Hollingshead & Dudley in St. Louis.
