ST. LOUIS – A woman alleges she was injured in a collision at a St. Louis intersection caused by a driver who violated a red light.

Jacinta Robinson filed a complaint on Jan. 30 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Alex York alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 5, 2016, she was traveling in motor vehicle on Lillian Avenue at Goodfellow Boulevard in St. Louis when the defendant violated a red light and struck the vehicle she was in. As a result, she alleges she sustained injuries to her head, neck with radiculopathy and back.

The plaintiff holds York responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to maintain a careful and vigilant lookout, failed to yield to the right of way and failed to take evasive actions at the first appearance of danger.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of no less than $25,000, plus costs and all further relief as the court may deems fair and reasonable. She is represented by Christopher Hoffmann of The Hoffmann Law Firm LLC in St. Louis.
