ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis man alleges he was injured in a collision in the city when another driver violated a red light.

Kevin Gather filed a complaint on Jan. 30 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Lillian Garth alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb, 17, 2016, he was operating his Pontiac Grand Prix traveling northbound on North Kingshighway Boulevard at its intersection with Delmar Boulevard when the defendant's Chevrolet Silverado collided with his vehicle. He alleges he sustained serious and painful injuries to his head, neck, shoulders, chest and arms and incurred medical expenses of more than $11,500 as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff holds Garth responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to maintain a proper lookout and carelessly entered the said intersection with a red light.

The plaintiff seeks damages of no less than $25,000, plus costs of this action and any further relief as the court may deem meet and proper. He is represented by Edward J. Deghroony in St. Louis.
