ST. LOUIS – A man alleges he injured his ankle, leg and foot in a fall on a patch of ice at a St. Louis property.

Corey Memmot filed a complaint on Feb. 4 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Grandview Tower LLC, et al. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 5, 2014, he was an invitee at the property owned by defendant Grandview Tower at Grand Boulevard in St. Louis when he slipped on a patch of ice on the walkway and fell. He alleges he sustained serious, painful and permanent injuries to his left ankle, left leg, left foot and left side of the body as a result of the fall.

The plaintiff holds Grandview Tower LLC, et al. responsible because the defendants allegedly cleared the snow on the walkway but did not clear the ice and failed to give adequate warning of the dangerous condition of the walkway.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $25,000, plus costs and any further relief as the court may deem just and proper. He is represented by R. Tyson Mutrux of Mutrux Firm LLC in Columbia.
