Partner Jennifer Artman has been appointed as reporter to the Missouri Supreme Court Committee on Jury Instructions.
In her new role, Artman will evaluate topics for the Committee’s quarterly meetings and prepare communications to the Missouri Supreme Court on the Committee’s work. In addition, she will work with all members of the Committee to review and draft Missouri Approved Instructions (MAI) and recommend adoption by the Missouri Supreme Court. She will be following opinions from the Missouri appellate courts, changes in the law via those opinions or statutes and handling questions from practitioners regarding the use of MAI, which are mandatory instructions for all jury trials in Missouri.
