ST. LOUIS - Several plaintiffs are suing the Community Housing Management Corp. over an alleged retaliation scheme.

Frederick Charleton, Barry Horwitz, Ella Raberm, Dorothea Parks, Ann Frank and Sherri Frank Weintrop filed a federal lawsuit on Jan. 28 in the Eastern District of Missouri against Community Housing Management Corp., Joan Denison, Jacqueline Jones/Taylor Katisha Reese Randall Reinker for breach of contract, racketeering and other claims.

According to the lawsuit, Plaintiffs are the elderly residents, or family members of residents, that were subject to fraud and coercion by defendants through an enterprise controlling the management company of a federally subsidized housing complex.

Property management members tried to hide their fraud by the hiring of a law firm to falsely allege that tenants were in violation of their lease and subject to evict. This was the practice for those tenants that complained their derived income was being miscalculated by the property management members.

Plaintiffs are represented by Matthew T. Singer of St. Louis.
