Juristat recognized Shook as one of the 2021 “Top Patent Firms” at the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO). The data-based ranking is based on key performance metrics including volume of filings, allowance rate of patent filings, and the average number of office actions before allowance.
Specifically, Shook was ranked in the Top 20 for the following USPTO Patent Technology Centers:
- “2600” (Communications): For patent applications filed for communications and technology clients;
- “3700” (Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Gaming and Medical Device/Processes): For patent applications filed in consumer goods.
