A former Graham Packaging employee says she was a victim of sexual discrimination and harassment.

Katrina Brancato filed a lawsuit in federal court against the company.

According to the complaint, Brancato was subjected to unwanted and unlawful sexual harassment and discrimination based on her gender which ultimately led to her termination and denial of a customary severance package.

Brancato alleges she was overworked without being provided with necessary resources while her male counterparts and childless female colleagues were adequately supported. She further accuses Todd Starkey, plant manager at the Maryland Heights Plant where she worked, of continually demanding more work from her despite her requests for help being ignored.

She seeks compensatory damages.
