A man is accusing a nursing home for his mother's death.
Rodney Fisher filed his lawsuit in federal court on behalf of the estate of Carol Robinson against N&R of New Madrid LLC and Health Systems Inc.
According to the complaint, Robinson passed away July 20, 2023, from a preventable pressure ulcer that developed at the N&R of New Madrid facility.
Fisher alleges both N&R of New Madrid LLC and Health Systems Inc. failed to provide adequate care for his mother while she was under their supervision. He says they breached their duty by not ensuring appropriate policies and procedures were in place for their nursing staff, proper capitalization, funding, staffing, and adequate training and supervision.
Fisher is seeking compensatory damages.
