A widow is blaming a company that makes road construction equipment for her husband's death.
Cynthia Armendariz filed her complaint in federal court against Diamond Products Tyrolit LLC and Diamond Products Inc. following the death of her husband in a road construction accident.
According to the complaint, Guadalupe Armendariz was employed by Clarkson Construction and was working on pavement grooving at Kansas City International Airport when the accident occurred. He was using a grinder-groover machine, model PC-150, manufactured by Diamond Products.
The widow claims the defendants are responsible for the design, manufacture, marketing, sale and servicing of this machinery.
Diamond Products Tyrolit is an Ohio-based company.
