ST. LOUIS — St. Louis property owners are suing their neighbors, citing alleged intentional infliction of emotional distress and trespassing.

Thomas and Adele Daake filed a complaint Sept. 28 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Robert M. Dolgin and Deborah R. Dolgin, alleging they entered the plaintiff's property without consent.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Aug. 30, Thomas and Adele Daake sustained damage to their property and their vehicles. The plaintiffs claim they were threatened along with their children and grandchild, and have suffered severe emotional distress.

The plaintiffs hold the defendants responsible because they allegedly damaged their vehicle and personal and real properties and threatened and intimidated their children, employees and subcontractors.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek actual, punitive and exemplary damages, plus interest, costs of court and further relief the court deems proper. They are represented by Mark T. McCloskey and Patricia N. McCloskey of McCloskey PC in St. Louis.
