Driver who hit another vehicle accused of negligence

ST. LOUIS — A motor vehicle owner is suing another motorist, alleging negligence.

Michael Wolken filed a complaint on Nov. 7 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Corey Beckman alleging that the motorist failed to maintain proper control of the vehicle he was driving.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 14, 2016 his 2016 GMC Acadia was on an open and public streets in Hampton when the defendant hit it and caused damages in the amount of $31,401. Wolken claims he also incurred an additional amount of $1,750 for loss of use of the vehicle. 

The plaintiff holds Beckman responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently caused his motor vehicle to collide with his vehicle.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury; and seeks damages in an amount of $33,151.58, plus costs of court and any further relief as the court may deem just and proper. He is represented by Mark G. McMahon and Michael B. Bill of Law Offices of Mark G. McMahon in Clayton.
