ST. LOUIS — A driver is suing another motorist for allegedly striking her vehicle, resulting in injuries.
Wachovia Taylor filed a complaint on Nov. 30 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Anthony McDaniel and USIC Locating Services alleging that the defendants failed to operate and maintain their vehicle in a safe manner to avoid injuring others.
According to the complaint, Taylor alleges that on Dec. 8, 2016, she was driving northbound on Goodfellow Boulevard at the intersection of Stratford Avenue when her vehicle was struck on the left side by USIC's vehicle, which was driven by McDaniel.
As a result, Taylor claims she sustained physical injuries, suffered pain and incurred medical expenses.
The plaintiff holds McDaniel and USIC responsible because McDaniel allegedly drove too fast for the conditions, failed to stay within proper lanes of traffic and failed to keep a careful lookout.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury; and seeks judgment in an amount consistent with the jurisdictional minimum, and any further relief the court deems just and proper under the premises. She is represented by Lorenzo Hester of Lorenzo Hester in St. Louis.
