ST. LOUIS — A motor vehicle driver is suing another motorist, citing alleged negligence.
Eric Hurst filed a complaint on Dec. 7 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Steven Pacini alleging that the other driver failed to operate a motor vehicle in a careful and prudent manner.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 2 he was operating a motor vehicle traveling westbound on Interstate 70 in St. Louis when the defendant negligently caused his vehicle to hit the plaintiff's vehicle. Hurst alleges he sustained personal injuries to his head, back and right shoulder, and has incurred medical expenses and lost wages.
The plaintiff holds Pacini responsible because the defendant allegedly carelessly travelled at a speed greater than reasonable and failed to keep his vehicle in the proper lane of travel.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury; and seeks damages of not less than $25,000, plus interest, costs, and any further relief that the court may deem just and proper. He is represented by Michelle E. Radice of Michelle E. Radice LLC in St. Louis.
