ST. LOUIS – A woman alleges a St. Louis nightclub failed to have an adequately trained security guard force on the night she was assaulted on the premises.

Samantha McCameron filed a complaint on Aug. 27 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against The Marquee LLC and 1911 Locust LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 29, 2017, she was at the defendants' Marquee nightclub in St. Louis when several men brutally assaulted and beat her. She alleges the men were strangers to her and that she did nothing to provoke them.

She alleges she suffered serious, permanent physical and psychological injuries and required invasive medical treatment and that she has incurred more than $10,000 in medical expenses.

The plaintiff holds The Marquee LLC and 1911 Locust LLC responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to provide an adequately trained security guard force and failed to provide her any warning or notice about the danger of an attack.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $25,000, plus interest and costs. She is represented by Joseph M. Taylor of Taylor & Taylor PC in St. Louis.
