ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis woman is seeking damages from an Illinois man over a collision on Interstate 64 in St. Louis.

Lindsay Harmon filed a complaint on Sept. 26 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Timothy Pekovic alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 19, 2015, she was driving eastbound on I-64 near the exit ramp of Hampton Avenue when the defendant struck her vehicle from the rear. She alleges she sustained serious injuries and incurred medical expenses of more than $10,000 as a result.

The plaintiff holds Pekovic responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently drove his vehicle too fast for the existing condition, failed to yield and failed to maintain a careful lookout.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of no less than $75,000, plus interest, costs and any further relief as the court may deem just and proper. She is represented by Daniel T. Ryan of Law Offices of Daniel T. Ryan LLC in Maplewood.
